how about we agree on a beach AND agree on a bar to go to afterwards. That way people who are driving in from not so close know that we’re actually going to all be there.

How about we just come to a consensus, we will meet at Bolsa Chica Beach, there are a bunch of firepits there and apparently it will be really obvious where we are.

But where is a good bar that is decently close to that that offers a chill atmosphere and cheapish drinks? First bar that more than 2 people mention we are going to plan on.

If the majority of you would like to still meetup in Malibu—Do it! There’s nothing stopping you and there will probably be a large crowd wanting to hang out. You guys can still chill and have a good time.

The situation is—the tumblrs coming in from out of town that are relying on other LAers for transportation are being persuaded by those further south to stay a little bit more local.

Seriously, sorry for any inconvenience. I say party on in Malibu AND Huntington.

Where: Leo Carillo State Beach in Malibu, CA

When: Saturday, June 13th– Set up starts at 6PM, so get there any time after that & then we’ll be heading out to a bar at around 11PM after the beach closes

Why: To hang out with awesome Tumblr people and boost your Tumblarity, duh

For the out-of-towners, here are some ideas for hotels.

In Glendale:

Day’s Inn: Rates look to be about $96 per night

Vagabond Inn: Rates are about $71 per night

Embassy Suites: Rates look to be around $120-150 per night

In Burbank:

Ramanda Inn: Approx. $105 a night

Holiday Inn: $116 a night

Travelodge: About $63 per night
